IT IS YOUR TIME TO SHINE

You may have fallen in time past
Become down-trodden or even an outcast
looked upon as the last
and even told to pass.
Lived a life of just the lower class
beaten up like the jazz
and even rejected like the broken glass

But there comes a time in your life
when you've got to accept the truth
that God's got great plans for you
and you've got to come into his room and will
You've got to know that alone you can't,
but with him you're assured to know that his arms
are always with warmth.

Care to ask why brethren?
Now here's your brainteaser
You can never make it up
not until you make it up.

Just a question for you
Are you really prepared?
NOTE: This is no time to waste
neither is the time for games.
But if prepared, look up and move up
for that's where you belong
Yeah, up there with a splendor
like the peacock taking your place
like the star that you are.

Now is your time to rise, to wake up
Your time to forsake the lies
Your time to not just link up
but also hook-up
Your time to say "Hey I'm back".
It's your time to shine not just shine
but also dine and wine.
Listen, you don't have to mop or glare.
No! But to look up and see the blue sky up there,
to see the pretty sunset he painted just for you
to see the rainbows and its beauty.

Now is your time to tell the world that
"I have got my mind made up
and i won't turn back
until i get to see my great God."
Time to live for God cos He died for you.
It's time to arise to the limelight
and to the world glow as the light

Now arise and shine.
For when i say 'Shining', then know it,
that it's your time and it is Now.
Brethren, i just said it
Don't drop it Arise and glitter finally,
cos it's your time to quit giving up and start, yes! Start rising up!.

COUNT ON HIM

I walked, walked, and walked.
I walked and became tired.
I fell, got up and continued.
I fell again and couldn't get up.
I saw a man who helped me up.
We both became friends
and along life's path walked up.
But i did wrong in His eyes
and He left me all up
to continue my journey up.


I felt it would be easier being alone
But it was the most difficult being alone.
Then again i fell, and i couldn't get up.
I repented, and wished someone could help me up.
Then i felf a hand on my shoulders.
I looked up, behold i saw a man.
He was the one i first saw.
He told me i could count on Him
whenever i was in need.


We became friends again
and i forgot the past.
I felt a heavy weight
was removed from me
because i felt very light.
I regained my strength
and could well continue my journey
This time, not alone nor on my own.
And whenever i needed anything
i could always count on Him.


He said to me
"I will never leave you nor forsake you."
Now, I know i can count on Him
because He always never fails.
You know whom He is?
His name is JESUS CHRIST.
